V***'s Retirement

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the retirement of our dear friend, V***. Over his years as a Staff member V*** has made numerous contributions to this community. The most significant of these is his recruitment and training of our First Line Support team and site moderators. His tireless work in this area has produced some of the highest quality FLS and Staff that we have ever seen. In addition, V*** compiled and published our special Monthly Freeleech Picks as well as creating V***'s First Time Uploader - Buy One Get One Free Contest. In short you would be hard pressed to be part of this community and not be touched by something that V*** has directly contributed to it. As a person V*** has been and will always be a great friend to many users and Staff alike. His knowledge of movies and television trivia is second to none, and he was always ready to discuss or debate anyone who was willing. His stepping down will leave a huge hole in this community. Please join us in thanking V*** for his lasting impact and contributions to the site. We all wish him well as he moves into the next stage of his life.

In honor of his retirement and service to the site we have decided to turn on Sitewide Freeleech for the next 24 hours.
