Two-Factor Authentication

To better protect your deli.sh account, the option of two-factor authentication has been added as an extra layer of security. For those of you who know what this is already, head over to your account settings page and click on Manage or click here to get started. If you aren't familiar with two-factor authentication, but you would like to better protect your deli.sh account, read on.

What do you need to get started? A smartphone and a supported two-factor authentication app. The Google Authenticator app can be used for Android, iPhone, and BlackBerry smartphones and Authenticator for Windows phones. In a nutshell, two-factor authentication works based on a unique value to you which is displayed on your smartphone. The system does not use SMS to authenticate, so you can rest assured that your phone number is not linked to deli.sh in any way. In fact, you don't even need wifi/data to be active! All that is required is an up-to-date clock on your smartphone.

To enable this feature, simply go here or click Manage on your settings page. A link to this can be found in the upper-left corner of the page. If you are completely new to two-factor authentication, it is highly recommended that you try setting it up on a Google account first so that you will be familiar with the process. A guide to doing that is here. If you have a Windows phone, just select iPhone or Android during the setup process.

In other news, there was a bug where traffic stats were not being counted properly. Everyone affected by this bug should now have a correct ratio. If anyone affected by this feels that their ratio is still incorrect, please feel free to send a Staff PM.
