Confusion over Website Owner Arrest!

One of the admins of a piracy website by name ‘Tamil Gun’ was arrested by Tamil Nadu police after a 6-month long operation to catch the culprits who are behind the piracy menace. Initially, reports started circulating that it was the owner of another piracy website who was arrested.

There had been a lot of confusion as there are multiple piracy websites which upload piracy content from Kollywood, Bollywood and Mollywood within a few minutes of a movie’s release. The most popular piracy website is ‘Tamil Rockers’. However, the admin by name Gauri Shankar of ‘Tamil Gun’ was arrested after a well-planned operation to curb piracy.

‘Tamil Rockers’ had posted on its Twitter wall that the arrest of its admin is fake. Now, it is clear that it’s not the owner of ‘Tamil Rockers’ but the admin of ‘Tamil Gun’ who was arrested by the police. The Producers’ Council headed by young hero Vishal has been active in this operation since the young hero took the charge as the President.
