Invites
Invites are a privilege and should be used carefully. Please read below.
We have had issues with members not knowing who they invite and then end up losing their invite rights.
Please read: rules
Also if you are aware of any Brokenstones invite threads on private trackers, can you flip d***** a PM. We are trying to bring them under Staff control. We have official invite threads on HDBits and Redacted.
Ratio Issues
We have been informed of members not showing their seeds and snatches correctly. We are looking into this.
Repacking to .dmg with APFS:
As you're aware Apple has introduced a new file system APFS (Apple File System) in High Sierra, which was developed to replace HFS+ (Mac OS Extended), introduced in 2001. This in turn can cause problems of compatibility, because APFS format is not supported on older OS X versions (APFS-formatted .dmg images are not mountable on older versions of macOS).
According to Apple's documentation:
APFS requires macOS High Sierra. Earlier versions of the Mac operating system don't mount APFS-formatted volumes.
Devices formatted as APFS can be read from and written to by:
- Other devices formatted as APFS
- Devices formatted as Mac OS Extended, if using macOS High Sierra
For example, a USB storage device formatted as APFS can be read by a Mac using High Sierra, but not by a Mac using Sierra or earlier.

Based on this, for better backwards compatibility use the old format (HFS+) when creating new .dmg images. Or just compress your files into ZIPs.
Also, please make sure that disk image files that contain KGs, K'ed files (K) are in HFS+ as well.

- Using Disk Utility: Show
- Using Terminal: Show
Update your password
We have noticed that there a lot of members with very old passwords, we recommend that you should update them.
