Hopefully we didn't have any of you worried with our mysterious news post. Black out means that we were closing our doors and disabling open registrations. bitGAMER is now invite only and will remain invite only indefinitely.

We also have some new features and updates, they are listed below:

- bitGAMER is now invite only. Anyone who would like to be invited must visit our IRC.

- Official IRC Channel. You MUST visit your account/profile page and reset your IRC Passkey to gain access.

- Retro Games are allowed. 10 Categories have been added (Atari, Dreamcast, Gameboy, Megadrive, N64, NeoGeo, NES, SNES,
SEGA, PS1).

- Preview option added to the upload page.

- BitBucket has been added which allows members to upload images to bitGAMER.

- Additional staff features have been added.

We will be adding even more new features soon!
