Since the launch of the new BeyondHD site (well definitely before) we have worked hard to not only ensure our site is both feature rich and full of content, but also offer security needed in modern society.

We, therefore, would like to inform our users that Two Step Authentic (2FA) has now been implemented. 2FA is a security mechanism that protects against a vast array of attacks i.e. brute force, email hacked and so on.

Rather than bore you with a long PM; below you will find a forum guide explaining “the what” and “the how” to set up 2FA.

Whilst we appreciate this may be “new” to some, we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Oh, I almost forgot…. Those who activate and use 2FA will receive an additional 1.5BP/hour regardless of seeding or not.

I am a BHD user. Today I clicked on the button to enable 2FA for my account. It logged me out of the site and had me log back on using the 2FA. However I have no idea what I am doing and failed on three attempts to log on using 2FA.

The link you posted here showing the instructions for 2FA, since I cannot access the site could you copy and paste them here or send me a pm please with the info? I am not sure what I am doing wrong to not get logged back in and would appreciate the info. Thank you.

**Found the issue, the time is off on my phone which caused the code to be off timewise, syncing my 2FA app to use google servers for time instead of my phone time corrected the issue. Leaving my post up on the off chance someone else experiences same issue with their phone** Cheers
