#beyondhd - IRC Changes

We have made some changes to how our main IRC channel works.

The channel is now invite only with a passkey required to enter.

You can find your passkey in 'My Security' and then IRC Key. You will have to identify with our bot using the following command: /msg Millie identify PASSKEY - Once you have done this you will be able to join the main channel #beyondhd

Your IRC name will have to match your site name

This change is to make our IRC/Shoutbox more secure and only allow people who are registered on the site in to the channel.

2020 Christmas Promotion

2020 Christmas Promotion - BP/FL tokens/collectibles, unlock covers + more!

Starting December 1st, 2020 at 0:00 UTC all BHD members may start opening doors on the 2020 Christmas Advent calendar!

There will be a new door to open every day until Christmas day like a chocolate advent calendar!

Every door you open between December 1 to 24 will give you:

1: Up to 1200 BP OR
2: A temporary FL token good for 24 hours OR
3: A collectible (can be resold to members or returned to Willie for 3300 BP)

On Christmas day, the door will give you:

1: Up to 1200 BP OR
2: A temporary FL token good for 24 hours OR
3: A collectible (can be resold to members or returned to Willie for 3300 BP) OR
4: The ability to FL any torrent (20 to 100 GiB) for all members for 24 hours.

Plus, all members who open the door on the 25th will receive a permanent FL token for participating.

The odds of winning the ability to FL a torrent are 1 in 99, so most members will probably get the BP, temp FL token or collectible (on Christmas, collectibles should be won by more members).

As added incentive to open all doors, if you open them all, you will receive a delicious candy cane badge!

Since collectibles are a new thing, here's a brief summary of what you can do if you receive one:

If you receive a collectible and want to take the BP instead of keeping it then you can click the collectible on the calendar page and there will be an option to "Return to Willie". You also have the option to sell it to other members in the collectible market.

Collectibles available to be won this year.

These are gift collectibles and cannot be stolen. They can either be sold to other members or returned to Willie for 3300 BP each.
Every door that you open gives you a 1 in 40 chance of revealing a collectible.
If you win or buy all six collectibles, you will earn the Grinch collectible badge!
If you wish to return your gift, click the item below and there is an option to return to Willie for 3300 BP.

If you win a "Magic Touch" token from the calendar, look for a torrent between 8 GiB and 100 GiB that you want to make freeleech for all.
Click the "Magic Touch" button in the floating menu bar of the torrent you choose. View torrents that members set to 100% Free!.
