Description
The goal for this team is to preserve as many perfect FLACs as possible for generations to come. The job is easy, you will be downloading every single FLAC on the site and archiving it.

Key Qualifications


  • You need to have a LOT of long-term storage, at least 5 TB (the more the merrier) free for storing perfect FLACs.
  • Some time to dedicate, few hours a week should be enough.


Bonus Points

  • Having multiple dedicated servers for this purpose
  • Available on IRC
  • Some scripting experience
  • Ability to set up automatic downloads
Charlie Team
Description

Charlie Team members are volunteers who help ensure the information in torrent pages is as accurate and complete as possible. They help users in the Editing forum and the #editing channel. Occasionally Staff will assign Charlie Team specific editing projects.

Key Qualifications


  • A solid grasp on the rules, particularly the Upload and Tagging rules.
  • Fluency in the English language. (Your English does not have to be native, but is has to be good).
  • A reasonable amount of time to spend. About 3 to 4 hours a week minimum, more is better.
  • Good communication skills.
  • An open, friendly mind and good motivation about the well-being of our site and its users.


Bonus Points


  • Fluency in another language
  • Previous experience editing torrent content on a Gazelle-based site.
  • In-depth knowledge in one or more music genres.
Developer for Special Projects

Description

Our development team is looking for a developer to build new and exciting applications to take us to the next level. You will be building applications from scratch to bring Apollo to Windows, Mac and Linux, using a wide spectrum of technologies ranging from cross platform C++ (STL, C++ 11/14) and Chromium to JavaScript and HTML.

Key Qualifications

  • C++ Native Developer, JavaScript and HTML
  • Understanding of design/development concepts and processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Understanding of Windows, Mac and Linux


Bonus Points

  • Experience with Gazelle, but it's not a must
  • Experience with GitHub/GitLab
  • Experience with the BitTorrent protocol
