I consider Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool, to be the band's most beautiful work to date.

The ambient and orchestral atmospherics add an entirely new level to the band's songs, creating a delicate balance between contentment and melancholy - the two primary emotions explored across A Moon Shaped Pool's eleven tracks. Experimentation is still present - this is Radiohead, after all - but it seems to take a backburner to the enveloping calm at which Thom and Co. are apparently driving.

It should be no surprise to any Radiohead fan that they succeed. Admirably. There are elements from all the previous albums present here: from the melancholic pop of In Rainbows to the loops and textures of TKOL, from the alienating ambience of Kid A to the unique guitar riffs of OK Computer. It's all here, with the perfect addition of Jonny Greenwood's orchestral compositions, with a new soothing element to Yorke's voice.

This Album Is A Masterpiece & One Of My Most Favorite Albums Of All Time. Listen And Keep On Listening.
