Apollo is back up again after its recent downtime
I hope it's forever
Today A reached out to us and offered us the keys to all of APOLLO's services. A will be stepping down as SysOp of APL due to heavy real life issues that had forced him to be absent for half a year. The timing couldn't have been greater/worse, as we were ready to move everything over to our new infrastructure.
We had already purchased a new domain and new servers, but we will use them to upgrade our current setup, as you've all noticed site has been a little unstable. I know you have tons of questions, like for example will we keep APOLLO.cd or APOLLO.rip? There will be news about that within the month.
In other news, SysOp X has also stepped down, due to shortage of time. In the coming weeks you will notice a lot of new faces on the developer side and we are really looking forward to get this ship on the right course.
PS. SSL tracker has been fixed and so has the email server. Get ready for a lot of other stuff getting fixed.
Thank you for your support.
-APL Staff-
I hope the decide to use the new domain (apollo.cd). I like it more than apollo.rip.
Off site...
Today, A reached out to us and offered the keys to all of APOLLO's services. He will be stepping down as lead SysOp of APL due to heavy real life issues, which have been the sole reason for his lengthy absence. The timing couldn't have been greater/worse, as we were ready to move everything over to our new infrastructure.
We have already purchased a new domain and new servers for said migration, but in lieu of this revelation we will instead use those to upgrade our current setup to help solve the recent issues in site stability. We know you have many questions, like for example will we keep APOLLO.cd or APOLLO.rip? There will be answers to pertinent questions such as these within the month.
