They will be changing domain so mabe they are preparing for this.
Have patience guys and let it play out.
In any case keep your torrents seeding and if the worst happens I'm sure waffles and red will not let all these users go to waste [emoji3]

Hopefully it is just a domain change and not shutting down. Hope you're right, @masonos.

And btw @Axort props on the image you posted lol

There will be less downtimes now that they are changing domain and moving to another sever with a perfect backup.

As far as i understand, we will have 2 different trackers now. The old one we already know and the new one (same database but different domain).

Exactly what happened with .bz and .click.

I suppose each side will blame the other side... The apollo.rip owner will probably say that some staffers have stolen the database and created their own site, the new guys will probably say that the owner was not active so they were forced to do it...

I don't think users really care about their war. Users just want to download music. It's gonna be complicated though:
    1) The new site will lose many of the current torrents. Some guys have no idea how to edit the torrent file and keep seeding their torrents and many users know how to do it, but they are too lazy to do it (and nobody can blame them).
    2) Too many users won't even find out about the new site. After 1 day/week/month the old site will be online again and they will just think "great, it's back".
    3) Some users might pick the old one and some users might pick the new one as their home. So both lose this way.

Anyway... Good luck to both of them

Actually they will lose a lot of activity (i already explained why). That's FOR SURE!

The question is if they will ever recover this activity and how fast it's going to happen...

Found this in comments of a discussion forum.

I got in touch with a friend who is an admin at APL and she said they are looking at Wednesday the 5th and a site wide freeleetch next weekend. Fingers crossed amidst all the disapointment.
