Recent Downtime

The staff would like to apologize for the sudden and unannounced bouts of downtime the site experienced recently. We recognize this puts everyone in an uncomfortable position regarding the future of Apollo, especially during our silence when we take a minute to collect our thoughts (and solve issues) before making an announcement.

The reason for the downtime was two-fold, as our frontend and backend systems decided to go belly up just days apart from each other. Barring technicalities, this isn't as bad as it sounds. The problem with each system has been verified and we have taken steps to ensure that any site outages continue to be as infrequent as possible. Meanwhile, work with the site is ongoing and any further issues should be fully resolved within the next few weeks.

For those wondering or worrying, we are still indefinitely here. These recent issues, as small as they are in the greater scheme of things, can certainly be alarming and we wanted to make sure the worst was behind us before speaking publicly. We have your best interests at heart and will continue to be as transparent and professional as possible in order to lay any current and future doubts to rest.

As trite as it may be to "tease" our plans for the future of Apollo, we do have some exciting news coming up that will be of interest to all. An announcement regarding said plans will be posted in a few weeks. In the meantime... relax.
