I have been an avid F1 fan for many years. I have been following formula one since the time of Mika Hakkinen and really got into the sport during the WC years of '98/'99. I am extremely partial to the Fins and Kimi Raikkonen is my all time favorite driver. My most favorite races of all time would be the 2005 Japanes GP with the last lap overtake on the outside of turn 1 of Fisichella by Kimi which had me jumping up and down on my seat in disbelief; the 2011 Canadian GP which I still can't wrap my head around how Button won after going through the pits all those times and with his two crashes, and the 2012 Abu Dhabi GP for the first win since the return of the Iceman. He put in a fastest lap on the first lap after the safety car which I have never seen anyone do and just pulled ahead :O
I would love for the sport to return to the old V8s and V10s just for the sound and the "feel" of the car while watching even though the current generation hybrid cars are no slouch themselves and have been rumored to be able to hit over a 1000hp soon. Also hope DRS gets the can and we bring back refueling and get cars with better noses, but oh well.
I love high speeds and fast cornering which I try to do pretending I'm a racing driver in my road car.
I have hit 190 MPH though on a deserted highway once in my somewhat old Infiniti which was an insane feeling I cannot describe, me being a student and non-racer of course. Of course, I hope nobody else tries that as it was a really stupid and dangerous thing to do
I am unable to watch any F1 or MotoGP races where I live and religiously download it from public sites which can sometimes take a day or two, trying not to know the results beforehand which can be quite a pain
I would really appreciate an invite just to have access to content from a sport that I love.
I hope I win but even if not, thanks for reading my ramblings. Appreciate what you're doing here.
