What will happen to your Email account and data after death ?

If you are an Internet freak or normal Internet using guy then you will obviously have an email account. But did you ever questioned yourself what will happen to your email account after you die ? If you are little bit worried or curious to know what will happen to your private email conversations you cared and saved after you leave this world, then stop worrying and know the fact that Google has a solution for you.

Finally Google has presented an Account Manager page as a solution, which can be used at your Digital ‘Legacy’ or ‘Bequest’.

Google will ask the people What would they like to do with their digital photos, documents and other data after their death or getting disabled ? By using an Inactive Account Manager, you can order Google to send your personal data from Google drive, Gmail, YouTube or Google Plus to someone close to you, whether friend or family member or you can ask Google to permanently destroy it.

On Account Settings page Google give option to the user to tranfer their data to a trusted friend or family member or permanently destroy it.

Google will give permit to the users to set for how much duration it has to wait before taking any action. The Internet giant Google will send message to people before the time ends.

You will be allowed to select the duration for account disabling. After this, a special information will be sent to 10 trusted people about what to do with account.

In the end Google will give option to it’s users to permanently delete their YouTube videos, Google plus profile and all other Google products services. Users can select the duration of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, one month before coming to the dead line of this duration , Google will send an email with additional information on alternate email address.

Google will give you the option to decide what you want to do with your digital data. You can share this data with any of your trusted friend or family, or you can select the option to permanently delete the data. Whatever the reason is, the power to take action about your data is in your hand.

By using ‘Inactive Account Manager’ you can decide what to do with your data and to whom send the message about your email account and data.
