Welcome to Torrentinvites.org *UNOFFICIAL* New Members Guide.

Purpose: Being a fairly new member myself, I felt it would be beneficial to provide a guide directed to the newer members who find themselves unfamiliar with some of the Forums terminology and to provide some guidance in using the Forum correctly and perhaps a little more efficiently.

I’ve included some links from other members who have taken the time to post helpful information so I hope they are OK with my referrals within this guide.

Forum Breakdown: Here is a brief breakdown of the Forum and what to expect from each section.

Chatbox
Feel free to use this to speak with other members of the Forum whether to say hello and general chit chat or to ask a query you may have. One of the members / staff will be happy to assist.

Staff Applications
Fill in an application if you wish to apply and be considered for a member of staff role i.e. moderator or part of the news team. Chances are due to you being a newer member your application won’t be considered, however, stay with us as an active member and if this still appeals to you then send in your application.

General Information
Find the latest news and announcements on Torrentinvites.org, Enter competitions and since you’re new to the Forum say “Hello”

. You can also raise any suggestions or bugs you may find while using the Forum.

The Marketplace
Sellers, Traders and Buyers section. If you have a tracker you wish to sell, buy or trade for another tracker then feel free to apply here. I urge you to take great care and extreme caution when dealing within this section.

VIP GiveAways and Requests Forum
The VIP section of the Forum is private and not viewable to standard members. This area contains some of the higher end trackers among other fantastic offers. If you’re a VIP your chances of winning one of the offers are greater. Some of the offers may appear elsewhere on the Forum but this is not always the case and your odds of winning an offer are reduced.

Donate

GiveAways and Request Forum
This is where you can find free invites, accounts, tracker bonus and Seedboxes. It also contains unlimited invite giveaways where you are more than likely to get your own free invite however chances are this will be for the lower end trackers. You can also submit a request for a specific tracker however this is limited to one request per user. Note: If you are a VIP you can open up to 5 request threads per month.

BitTorrent Forum
Here you can find out all the things going on with Torrent Trackers. From Tracker help, general discussions, reviews and open Tracker threads you’ll surely find what you need when it comes to BitTorrent and Trackers here.

Seedbox Forum
A Forum orientated around Seedboxes. Whether it’s sales, general discussions, help or Seedbox reviews you’ll find out what’s HOT and what’s NOT when it comes to Seedboxes.

Other Discussions
As you will see on the Forum, this area contains other threads you can participate in. You can sit back and relax in The Lounge or enter discussions about movies, music, games, sports etc you get the idea

Now that you've had an overview of what Torrentinvites.org has to offer you may be wondering what some of the members mean when it comes to fulfilling their requirements on their offers. I will make a start and try to elaborate on this.

Active - Being active is by participating / posting in discussions, open new threads that other members will find useful, Submit offers of Invites, Seedboxes, Tracker Bonuses etc, Chat with others in the Chatbox, help out others with their queries. Don’t assume that spamming (i.e. Thank you posts, 100 x welcome responses etc) will be considered as being active as it won’t.

Proofs – This is a term used where you are required to send proof that you are good at maintaining a ratio, your connection speeds and whether or not you use a Seedbox. There will be areas that new members are still unsure about, so please be active and ask here under this post? I'm sure a more knowledgeable member will provide you with a response!

There will be pointers I've missed out which may be of value to new members so I encourage our more experienced members to be proactive and contribute to this post making it a more comprehensive guide to us new members
