NETFLIX lovers might want to double check their account is secure after the streaming site’s Twitter account was hacked.
The Sunreports, an internet security company managed to take control of its official social media account on Wednesday.

None of Netflix’s systems were affected, but it’s a staunch reminder of how careful you need to be online. People are coughing up for stolen Netflix logins so they can binge-watch without the monthly fee. Security boffins at McAfee Labs discovered Netflix accounts are up for sale in Dark Web marketplaces.

But luckily there’s help at hand.

HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR NETFLIX HAS BEEN HACKED

-To make sure you haven’t been compromised you should click on the drop-down menu next to your name at the top right-hand of the screen. -From there you can check your viewing activity.
-If you see something you’ve never watched coming up, you can click on “see recent account access”.
-You’ll be able to see the date and time, location and even the device someone has been streaming from.
-Then you simply go back to your settings and click “sign out of all devices” to lock those nasty hackers (or in some cases, ex-partners or siblings) out.
