Internet Download Manager is good too very practical and it maximizes your speed

A few Q's on this:

- Do artificial bitrate increases creep in during these conversions so that in the end the user thinks they have a decent quality mp3 (>=192kbps) when in fact the source was of a much lower resolution (say, 96kbps or 128kbps)?
- Do these progs/plugins auto-normalize or not?

As an aside, my personal way of stealing any kind of audio from YT vids consists of downloading the flv, stripping the mp3 stream from it with FLV Extract, passing it through mp3DirectCut to normalize (use Ctrl-M and hit Ok, whole process only takes a few secs) and cut and presto!
