Chrome extension All Seeing Eye indexes all text in your Web history
In addition to the hugely helpful step of indexing all of the text of every page you visit in Chrome, All Seeing Eye captures a screenshot of each page you visit for a quick visual search of your Web history.http://cnet4.cbsistatic.com/hub/i/r/...seeing-eye.jpg
Your Web history tells you only so much, namely the URL and title of each Web page you have visited. With Chrome extension All Seeing Eye, your Web history expands to include all of the text of every page you have visited and provides visual cues by way of screenshots. After installing All Seeing Eye from the Chrome Web Store, the extension starts indexing all of the text of every page you visit. And it captures a screenshot of each page, too. When you select Show All History from Chrome's History menu, All Seeing Eye displays a grid of thumbnails of the screenshots it has captured, which gives you a quick, visual way to hunt for an item in your Web history. You can click on a screenshot to go directly to the page it represents. You can also click on the magnifying glass icon to view an expanded version of the thumbnail in a new tab.
If you can't find what you are looking for by its screenshot, then you can use the search bar at the top of the page to search by keyword. All Seeing Eye does not store any data in the cloud; it keeps your information on your machine. Also, it does not track your Web whereabouts when you are using Chrome's Incognito mode for private browsing.
