A PREMIER League footballer is reportedly facing a police investigation after a French model claimed he drugged and raped her after a night out in London.

The World Cup star is accused of attacking the woman, who can't be named for legal reasons, along with a non-league football friend at an apartment.

She reported the alleged incident to police when she returned to Paris and was later examined by forensic medics, according to the Daily Star Sunday.

The newspaper reports that the woman and her friends met the footballers at a Mayfair restaurant while having and then went back to an apartment in Westminster.

The group later went out to a nightclub where the woman says she drank two glasses of champagne and one vodka and was dancing with the player and kissed.

But she says she started to feel ill and began vomiting so the left the bar and got a taxi back to the rented flat.

The woman says she continued to feel unwell and disorientated and went to bed alone.

She claims she woke in the middle of the night to find the premiership star had removed her underwear and was having sex with her.

The model said was in pain but felt too weak to fight him off and lost consciousness.

When she woke again she claims his football pal was lying beside her in the bed and she told him what had happened but he didn't want to know.

Instead, she alleges that the second man carried out a sex act on her against her will but she mustered the strength to push him off and left the room to find her friend.

She claims to have fallen asleep and when she woke the men had left.

A friend told the Star: "She felt really sick and dizzy and was vomiting all the way back to the apartment.

“She had been flirting with the Premier League player in the club, but he witnessed the state she was in.

“It never crossed her mind he would do what he did."

The woman left the flat to find a police station but it was closed and so reported it when she got back to Paris.

A Police Nationale spokesperson told the newspaper they did not comment on matters that were under investigation.

The Metropolitan Police said French authorities have not yet informed them about the alleged attack.
