Popular Uncle Tobys cereals have been left off the shelves of some Woolworths stores, with supply issues being blamed.

Shoppers have complained of gaps on cereal aisles where items are usually stocked.

Uncle Tobys parent company Nestle said there were problems with availability, which was affecting products getting to several Woolworths stores.

It has apologised to customers and said it was working with the store to fix the issue, and has told shoppers that in the meantime they can get their favourite cereals at Coles and IGA stores.

It is an Australia-wide issue but Nestle’s spokeswoman would not comment on whether it affected all of its products or when the problem started, according to the Herald Sun.

Uncle Tobys products include Weeties, Vita Brits, Nut Feast, Shredded Wheat, Fruity Bites, Cheerios, Traditional Oats and Oat Crisp, as well as Muesli Bars, Oat Slices, Le Snaks and Roll Ups.
