A WOMAN was left on the road and in shock after she was carjacked while donating clothes to charity at Arundel on the Gold Coast, Queensland on Wednesday.

At about 4:40pm, the woman left her Mercedes running while she opened the boot to remove the clothing.

While she was busy in the boot, a man approached from behind and attempted to get into the car.

There was a short struggle, before the man drove off in her car, knocking her to the ground.

The man is described as Pacific Islander with a “proportionate build” and was wearing a dark blue jacket, blue jeans, a dark coloured baseball cap and blue backpack at the time if the incident.

The car was found on July 19 at about 2:40pm in Blyth St, Arundel.
