A SUPERB TripAdvisor review branding a Cornish beach "too damp" has gone viral.

Isobel had a less than perfect visit to Perranporth beach on the south coast and decided to tell the world.

Though she did like the surf shops and ice cream parlours, she was not impressed with the state of the sand.

She wrote: "The beach itself looked really good for surfers, however I found the sand to be much too damp.

"Not great for building sand castles. It was far too busy for my liking better as a surfers beach rather than one for chilling out on.

"There are a few car parks but I think we were just lucky in finding a space. Understandably in the height of summer the place was jam packed."

She was still kind enough to give the beauty spot three stars and as many as 72 other people found her review helpful.

It was later posted onto social media where others have been having fun with her humorous take on the trip.

One person wrote: "Also went to Perranporth once and the sea was wet.

"If you could sort that out to it would be very much appreciated."

Local shop Piran Surf poked fun at the review on Facebook, writing: "Check this review out of our beach!

"Considering like most beaches we have tides and the sand remarkably gets wet… we will still try and keep our sand less damp."
