THE WORLD'S richest tech billionaires boast a combined net worth of £267billion – but who's got the most dosh out of Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon chief Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Google's Larry Page?

Together their staggering wealth tops the GDP of Egypt (£251billion) and Portugal (£153billion).

But only one can snag the top spot, and we can reveal who's the richest of them all.

Below you'll find the tech moguls ranked from least to most wealthiest.

4. Larry Page, $52.2billion (£39billion)
Page handles the reigns at Google parent company Alphabet, which also owns the Android mobile operating system and the Nest smart home brand.

He co-founded the search giant with his Stanford university buddy Sergey Brin.

Together they invented Google's PageRank: the search rank algorithm that underpins the mighty Google.com.

Page was Google's first CEO until he stepped down in 2001. He then re-assumed the role in 2011, before stepping aside once more in 2015 to head up the all-powerful Alphabet Inc.

3. Mark Zuckerberg, $72.1billion (£54billion)
The Facebook founder and CEO was laughing all the way to the bank amid his company's latest privacy scandal.

During his grilling at the hands of US lawmakers in Congress, Zuck netted an incredible $2billion as his firm's stock shot up based on his confident performance.

It's those Facebook shares that keep his pockets lined: Zuck owns nearly 17 percent of all Facebook stock.

He started the social network, which has grown into a web behemoth with 2.2billion users, in 2004 at the age of 19 while studying at Harvard.

2. Bill Gates, $93.2billion (£70billion)
Gates currently chairs the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the world's largest private philanthropic entity.

But he's probably best known as the co-founder of Microsoft, the tech firm he founded with Paul Allen in 1975.

He still sits on the company's board of directors, while CEO Satya Nadella heads the hardware and software-maker.

Gates owns just 1 percent of Microsoft stock, with the majority of his wealth generated through a mix of other stocks and assets.

1. Jeff Bezos, $139billion (£104billion)
The self-made billionaire who founded online retail giant Amazon in a garage in 1994 is the top dog, with a jaw-dropping $139billion in the bank, making him the world's richest person.

This year alone Bezos' wealth has spiked by $40billion.

And it's all thanks to the skyrocketing price of his main company's shares.

Amazon's stocks have risen from roughly $1,200 at the start of 2018 to nearly $1,700 per share more recently, an increase of around 40 percent.

Bezos' other main passion is space travel: his aerospace company Blue Origin is promising to whisk tourists to the moon within decades.

And the tycoon is funding it all out of his own pocket. But don't expect him to run out of dosh anytime soon.
