noobie question what is a ghost torrent

I believe what you're talking about is when a tracker reports you're seeding a torrent but you really aren't. You may have snatched and seeded it at one point but have since removed it from your client but the tracker still says that you're seeding. I have this problem with IPT. GFT allows you to flush your torrents in these cases. I believe PolishTracker also give you the option. Sometimes before your client updates to the tracker you will still have removed torrents in your snatchlist. But when the tracker fails to update that's when you get these ghost torrents.
