Watch Eminem's performance inside and outside the Empire State Building, filmed by the Pixel 3

Monday morning, we told you that Google arranged to sponsor this whole week of Jimmy Kimmel Live! And part of the product placement involved using the Pixel 3 to capture Eminem performing his song Venom from the movie of the same name. On Saturday, the rapper sang the song inside and outside the Empire State Building as a pulsating light show could be seen by curious bystanders watching from the sidewalk below. Monday night, the video was played on Kimmel's late night show on ABC.

The Pixel line uses one rear sensor on back and Google's processing to outperform many phones with a dual camera setup. Besides the Eminem video, there have already been seven magazine covers shot using the Pixel 3. But perhaps the most difficult task achieved by the handset was to get famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz (she's the one who has snapped many iconic covers for Rolling Stone) to swap her Apple iPhone for the Pixel 3.

So what's the verdict? Did the Pixel 3 do a good job replacing the expensive professional equipment usually employed to record an Eminem video? Well, you can't really answer that unless you've seen the clip. If you did not stay up late to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live!, you can still watch the performance by tapping on the video at the top of this article.
