A PERTH woman who stole a total of almost $80,000 from her employer's safe over about four months has been jailed for two years.

Alesia Maree Renshaw, 33, stole the cash between September last year and January while she was working at Puma Energy Australia Fuels, the West Australian District Court heard on Friday.

Renshaw, who turned herself in to police and pleaded guilty to stealing as a servant, must spend at least one year behind bars before she can be eligible for parole.
