On the eve of May, Russia accused of involvement in this case. She said that normal relations with Moscow could not be and she stressed that she was waiting for the Kremlin's response until Wednesday.

In Russia, they replied that there had been no official requests for the "Skripal case", the embassy also sent a note to the British Foreign Office in which the diplomats announced Russia's non-involvement in the incident.

On Wednesday, a meeting of the National Security Committee will be held, at which the response will be determined, a source from RIA Novosti in the government's office said.

For example, London threatened to expel Russian diplomats, boycott the 2018 FIFA World Cup, introduce new restrictive measures, block accounts of Russian entrepreneurs and deny RT TV license.

Position of Moscow

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Moscow has nothing to do with the poisoning of the former scout.

"We have already made a statement that everything is nonsense," said the head of the department, Sergei Lavrov.

He noted that London must make an official request to start a joint investigation.

Also on the eve of the Russian Foreign Ministry, British Ambassador Laurie Bristow was summoned. He was objected to because of London's accusations against Moscow. Russian diplomats added that the actions of the British authorities are frankly provocative.

"It is stressed that Moscow will not respond to London's ultimatum until the Russian side is provided with samples of a chemical substance, to which the British investigation refers," the Russian Foreign Ministry added.

In addition, the embassy in London sent a note to the British Foreign Office confirming that the Russian side is not involved in the poisoning of Skripal and indicating the need for joint investigation of the incident.

According to Nikolai Shlyamin, a political scientist and leader of the United Youth Front public movement, the current British policy looks bleak.

"Especially in relation to Russia, complete profanity and fiction," he said on Sputnik radio.

The political scientist noted that they did not investigate the "Skripal case", but already issued an ultimatum and identified the guilty. He called it "blowing his cheeks."
