A BODY found on a Costa beach is that of a Brit expat lost in floods, cops confirmed yesterday.

Roger Hanks, 73, vanished as a deluge wrecked his self-built home by a river near Coin, north of Marbella, in October.

Acquaintances and other expats - used to seeing him on his bicycle with his pets - appealed for information on social media.

Police discovered the decomposing corpse two weeks later in Casares, 45 miles away.

They at first thought it was a man aged around 50 and failed to make the connection.
But local police now say: “Tests and a DNA comparison with relatives have led to officers confirming he is the British man who vanished last year.
