MOSCOW, June 21 - RIA Novosti. US President Donald Trump said that he was considering meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in July, Bloomberg reported.

"I consider the possibility of a meeting with Putin in July," the US president's agency said.

Earlier, Trump had already announced his intention to meet with the Russian president. On Fox News, he said that he might soon meet with his Russian counterpart. Later in an interview with journalists, Trump said that the meeting is possible in the summer. The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that there is as yet no understanding on a possible meeting between the Russian and US presidents.

Earlier, Putin stated that many countries expressed a desire to assist in holding the meeting, including Austria. Trump himself has repeatedly stated, including during his election campaign, that he wants to get along with Russia.

On Thursday, a representative of the National Security Council (NSC) Garrett Markies said that US National Security Adviser John Bolton will visit Moscow in late June and discuss the organization of the US-Russia summit.
