Meeting in Helsinki

Earlier it became known that Putin and Trump will meet on July 16 in Helsinki. The Kremlin reported that at the summit the leaders of the two countries intend to discuss the prospects for further development of bilateral relations, topical issues on the international agenda.

This will be the first full-fledged meeting between Putin and Trump without ties to the summits. A year ago they first met in Hamburg in the G20 fields, then briefly held a conversation in Vietnam in November 2017 at the APEC summit.
