Hi guys,

need you movie buffs to give me a recommendation of what film i should watch tonite with my girlfriends these are the two films i have to choose from either true grit or unknown i know they are totally different genre's but heard they are both good films and got good reviews so wanted your opinions which one is better if you have seen both or if you seen one if it was good

Have seen both. I recommend True Grit dear! Even though it is a western, it's a modern western so anyone will enjoy it. My girlfriend hates westerns and would watch this movie any day! Very funny btw!

thanks toyo the whole western theme did put us off but thought has matt damon in it so worth a watch just for him lol, what did you think of unknown was it any good? x

I Liked Unknown More That True Grit.
Unknown Is Filled With Suspense & Also True Grit Is Little Bit Boring.

It was good. There is just some many movies like it IMO. I like Liam Neeson. He's a good actor, but the movie kind of reminds me of the same movie he was in a couple of years ago named "Taken". I know "Taken" is a good movie, but he plays that same role. Sort of redundant.

Watched True Grit last night, was one of the most boring movies I've seen in a long time.
I kept waiting for something to happen, which never did.

If you have trouble sleeping then I reccomened it: )

lol thanks post101 well i feel sleepy by 8 i will stick on true grit to make sure i do fall asleep at the mo seems unknown is heading it for me

gotta say I really didn't like true grit but I am not very much a fan of slow movies so dont take what i say too seriously

had nice film shots in it tho~
