Three people – including teenage girl – found dead inside Northern Ireland apartment

THREE people have today been found dead inside an apartment in Northern Ireland.

Cops launched an investigation this morning after making the discovering in Newry, 40 miles south of Belfast.

Newry and Armagh MLA, Justin McNulty, tweeted this afternoon: "This community is in shock and a dark cloud hangs over Newry this afternoon.

"It’s my understanding three people have lost their lives. Police are describing those deaths as suspicious.

"My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased."

A Police Service of Nortern Ireland spokesman said: "Police are dealing with an incident at a house in Glin Ree Court, Newry.

"There are no further details at present."
