A GANG of screaming teenage yobs leapt on seats during a cinema showing of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again — and waved mobiles showing porn at the audience.

Parents had to shield their children’s eyes as the mob of 14 and 15-year-olds rampaged around the cinema shouting and swearing.

One grandma, 72, said: “It was disgusting. We’d been singing along to songs by Abba and then all we could see were mobile phone screens of porn stars bobbing up and down.”

A mum said: “They were like animals. One woman remonstrated with them and got hit on the head.

"They were laughing and swearing loudly - there were two girls were in and out of their seats constantly.

"Another woman sitting behind one of them said 'You are a rude little girl and you have ruined this film for me and my family'.

"The woman went out and came back with members of staff, the lights went on and the film was stopped.

"Then one of the girls started shouting and swearing. People had to put up with name calling, their seats being kicked, hair and ears touched, food thrown.

"A lot of people with younger children just walked out."

The film had to be halted while security staff ejected the yobs from Cineworld in Brighton.

A Cineworld spokesman said: "We can confirm that on Sunday afternoon a screening of Mamma Mia 2 at Cineworld Brighton Marina Village was disrupted while security staff responded to an incident involving a group of disruptive customers.

"These customers were swiftly removed from the cinema and the police were contacted.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and have offered refunds to those affected. We would like to thank our customers for their co-operation."

Sussex Police said: "We received a report at 9pm on Sunday regarding an assault that took place at Cineworld in Brighton Marina around 5pm on the same day.

"A woman was assaulted by a group of teenagers, who were all believed to be around 14.
"The teenagers were escorted off the premises."
