Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Igor Mosiychuk on the air of the TV channel "112 Ukraine" announced the need to destroy the Crimean bridge, which was opened in mid-May by the Russian authorities.

According to him, this structure is an "enemy infrastructure". "Why enemy - because it connects the occupied territory with the mainland of the aggressor country," said Mosiychuk.

He added that if the Crimea returns to Ukraine, the bridge will become a strategic object. "Any normal country in the world that is at war for its territory, for its people, of course, seeks to destroy enemy infrastructure - a bridge, a railway station, an airport," the MP said.

Answering the question, he could personally destroy the bridge, Mossychuk noted that he would have done it if he had been the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

On May 15, the opening ceremony of the Crimean bridge took place, in which Russian President Vladimir Putin took part. The next day, an automobile traffic was launched on this site.

The Washington Examiner published an article by journalist Tom Rogan, entitled "Ukraine should blow up the Putin's Crimean Bridge." The author of the article stated that the bridge should be destroyed, as it is "an outrageous insult to Ukraine as a state". On May 17, the Investigative Committee instituted criminal proceedings against Rogan. In response, the journalist published a new material entitled "Why does Putin want to send me to the Black Dolphin." In it, Rogan suggested that the bridge be bombed without victims, adding that he does not regret his previous article.
