THE Sun today offers a £10,000 reward for information that helps locate missing student Libby Squire.

She vanished two weeks ago after returning home alone following a night out with friends in Hull.

The reward comes as police have so far drawn a blank despite detailed searches of ponds, rivers, gardens, sheds and bins.

It is feared Libby, 21, may have been snatched after she got out of a taxi near her digs.

Chilling CCTV shows a woman believed to be the second-year philosophy and religion student getting into a car close to her digs.

She has not been seen since and cops fear she may have come to some harm.

The Sun is calling on anyone with information to come forward immediately.

Officers have swept the city in a bid to locate Libby. Up to 50 detectives are working on the case around the clock.

They insist it remains a missing persons inquiry but sources say officers are convinced Libby was snatched from the street.

Distraught parents, Lisa, 48, and Russ, 53, have been made aware of the reward.

Det Supt Martin Smalley urged anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. All calls are confidential.

He said: “If you know something, no matter how small or insignificant, consider what Libby’s family are going through and call.”

PARENTS BACK OUR PLEA
Residents and students in Hull threw their weight behind our poster campaign.

Hairdresser Sharron Morris 55, said: “We can't believe it. Everyone is so concerned.”

Student Antonia Penno, 21, said: “I feel so shocked. I can't stop thinking about it.”

Libby disappeared after a night out on January 31. She was turned away at the Welly Club for being drunk.

Pals put her in a taxi to go home and she arrived on Wellesley Avenue at 11.30pm.

But she never went inside and instead walked 200 yards before sitting on a bench.

Police believe she remained in the area until 12.09am when CCTV shows a woman believed to be Libby getting into a car near the bench.

Polish butcher Pawel Relowicz, 24, was held on suspicion of abduction.

Cops searched the home he shared with his wife, Jagoda, 24, and two kids and seized his silver Vauxhall Astra.

He has been charged with carrying out a sex act on Libby’s street, and stealing sex toys, knickers and condoms in house raids, but not charged with Libby’s abduction.
