A SICK message claiming “uni girls love rape” has been found on the bathroom floor of a UK college.

The statement, made using toilet paper, was found at Florence Boot Hall at the University of Nottingham.

A photo of the message was posted on Twitter where it was slammed.

“What the hell is this doing in one of the University of Nottingham Florence Boot Halls shared bathroom? This is disgusting. What is wrong with people,” Victoria, who shared the photo, said.

Others slammed the message as “absolutely vile” and “disturbing”.

One user wrote: “Not only is the message horrifying, but the time and care that has gone into writing it out in a public space for all to see is disturbing.

“The person responsible is obviously not fit for university and needs to be expelled.”

Another said: “Utterly disgraceful that someone put the time and effort into making that hateful message.”

One woman wrote: “This is absolutely vile, would like to see some action taken to investigate this.”

The university quickly spoke out to condemn the message and said it was removed from the bathroom straight away.

“This disgusting message was removed as soon as staff were made aware of it. It doesn’t reflect the values of the uni and the behaviour we expect within our community,” staff tweeted.

“We’re investigating to find who placed it there.”

The university later confirmed that a probe had been launched into the offensive statement.

“Our security team will speak with police once we’ve gathered evidence through investigation to see if they believe a crime has been committed,” a spokesman said.
