A SEX “masterclass” for men — priced at $250 a ticket and including live demonstrations “directly on a woman’s body” — is scrambling to find a new home after a western suburbs council cancelled its booking.

Cottesloe Civic Centre is accustomed to hosting bake sales and afternoon teas but an entirely different set of buns was on the menu at the “Perth Yoniverse Masterclass for Men” which was slated for late October.

“Yoni” is an ancient Indian word for women’s genitalia and the all-day workshop, which has already taken place in Melbourne and Byron Bay, promises to educate men on female arousal and pleasure.

“Did you know that every woman is actually physically capable of experiencing over 50 different kinds of orgasms?” a website promoting the event reads.

“Do you wish you had proper education about female sexuality, not just the dodgy stuff from school and random internet articles? Would you like to understand the secrets of women's anatomy and how to truly, deeply pleasure a woman?”

Facilitated by Elise Savaresse, founder of The Yoniverse and 21-day self-pleasure challenge and “embodiment and pleasure coach” Kate Atkinson, the event also includes a practical element.

“This is not going to be another purely information-based masterclass, you will actually witness different live demonstrations directly on a woman’s body. Yes, we are actually going there!!” their promotional material continues.

“You will get the REAL anatomy lesson you wished you had been given at school! This is a huge experience for most women, and vital for men wishing to truly discover what is possible in pleasuring women.”

A live demonstration of a “tantric yoni massage” — a “must-have skill for any lover of women” — was also promised.

But any long-suffering women in Perth’s golden triangle will have their bedroom ordeals extended after the Town of Cottesloe confirmed it had cancelled bookings for both the men’s masterclass on October 27 and a workshop aimed at women the following day.

“The application form received by the Town to book the hall for these dates stated that it was for a yoga and meditation event,” a Cottesloe spokeswoman said after being contacted by The Sunday Times this week.

“The Town was not aware of the sexual nature of the events until now.

“The event booking in October has been cancelled and this event will not be happening at the Civic Centre.”
