A second vegan activist has been charged after a controversial video was live streamed from a piggery in Pinjarra at the weekend.

Police charged a 24-year-old Perth woman with trespass and she was bailed to appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on March 22.

On Tuesday, Direct Action Everywhere launched a plea for donations for another activist James Warden who was charged over the same incident and another in Mundijong earlier this month.

The appeal has raised more than US$3000 in less than 24 hours.

The pair allegedly filmed themselves inside the former GD Pork facility in Blythewood, south of Pinjarra, ‪on Sunday night, moving around undetected for at least an hour.

The livestream was shared globally, attracting more than 55,000 viewers.
