COPS are desperately hunting a 14-year-old girl who vanished five days ago.

A search was launched after Courtney Robinson failed to return to her home in Hull on Monday.

Police have now released a CCTV image of Courtney, which is believed to be the last known sighting of her.

She can be seen wearing a black hoody, black vest top, possibly shorts and a short black skirt. She is carrying a black coloured bag.

Courtney has been described as five foot six inches tall, of medium build with very long, mousey coloured hair.

A spokesman said: "We’ve had nobody that has seen or had contact with her and we are getting increasingly concerned for her whereabouts.

"She’s also a very talkative 14-year-old and she finds it easy to talk to people in the street.

"We’re concerned she may have struck up a friendship with somebody and that she is safe and well but hasn’t been in touch with us.

"If you are in or around the hull area whether you drive a bus or a taxi and think you have seen her please ring the dedicated number.

"It is really important she is reunited with her family. We are really concerned for her safety so if you have seen Courtney please get in touch.

Police are asking anyone who can help to call 101 quoting log 762 of August 7 if you can help.
