CONOR McGregor is reportedly about to sign a plea deal over that infamous attack on UFC rival Khabib Nurmagomedov’s bus in April.

TMZ Sports reports that McGregor’s lawyers are in the final stages of a deal that would see his felony charge reduced to a mismemeanor. He was charged with one count of felony criminal mischief and three counts of misdemeanour assault.


Any felony charge could have seen the Irishman banned from entering the US permanently.

McGregor was caught on video throwing a trolley at the window of a bus at the Barclays Centre in New York.

Mixed martial arts fighter Cian Cowley, who has also been charged over the incident.

UFC president Dana White labelled “the most disgusting thing that’s ever happened in this company”.

TMZ said that negotiations are down to the “fine points” and could be finalised within days. McGregor is due in a Manhattan court on Thursday.

Lightweight Michael Chiesa sustained facial cuts and flyweight Ray Borg multiple corneal abrasions in the attack.
