S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole is selling his BRIT Award on eBay.

The former singer, 40 - who has recently been at war with his ex band-mate and former flame Hannah Spearritt - won the particular Best Newcomer award back in 2002 with the rest of the pop group.

Paul has now listed the gong on the auctioning site for £650 on 5th January with a meagre three people bidding for it - years after 5ive's Abz Love pocketed £1million for his gong.

S Club 7 were a huge success with a series of top ten singles, including Bring It All Back, Reach and Never Had A Dream Come True.

And while the band disbanded in 2003, Paul has revealed that things were far from smooth during the height of their fame.

In recent months, Paul lashed out at former lover Hannah - blaming the demise of their romance on their relationship on her bid for Hollywood fame, which left him thinking if she was the 'same person.'

And now it seems he is hoping to eradicate all evidence of his time in the hugely popular band - and make some money at it.

Paul has shared a number of pictures of their BRIT award trophy from different angles and has described its condition as 'very good'.

He goes onto to describe the gong further: 'Here is the 2000 Brit Award for Best Newcomer Presented To Paul Cattermole from S Club 7 .

'Statuette of Britannia 13 1/4 “ in height, it hasn’t been professionally polished, there are smudges that won’t come out without a pro polish. There are signs of age.

'Where the arms meet the shoulders at the back, and where the neck and chest blend into the top of the dress. An indentation on the inside of the helmet. That is a casting bubble and has always been there. *See photos*

'Letter of provenance will be provided , message for postage / meet and greet details ,' he states, before continuing: 'Paul can meet you and greet you and take photos, distance depending :-)'

Paul listed the starting price as £650, however only three fans have put up a bid- with the highest being £690.

He has also put on a frame he received for S Club 7's album going platinum in New Zealand, which has a starting bid of £200 - but that has yet to receive bids.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Paul for further comment.

Back in 2015, Abz Love surpassed £1million when he put his BRIT up on eBay after only 24 hours.

This comes after Paul opened up about the demise of his relationship with Hannah in 2006 - blaming it on her bid for Hollywood fame, which left him wondering if she was the 'same person'

Speaking of Hannah, who went on to pursue a high-profile romance with Andrew-Lee Potter shortly after their relationship ended, the former singer told The Sun: 'I very much felt she thought she needed to prioritise her career.'

Hannah was only 12 and Paul was 17 when they met for the first time in 1994 and entered into a relationship seven years later, which lasted for five years.

However, Paul was reportedly left blindsided after the blonde called it quits on their romance - leaving him to now look back and reflect on the possibility of Hollywood casting directors having a say in who she should and shouldn't date.

He continued: 'I'm betting she was told, "So your current boyfriend is doing music stuff. Well, that's great, but you really need an actor boyfriend."

'She was much more impressionable then than she is now so I reckon if an agent told her to ditch me then she might have listened,' he admitted.

Despite their less than amicable split, Paul fondly remembers the good times in the romance - admitting they were 'passionate' and would 'steal kisses and cuddles in the dressing rooms.'

S Club 7 were a huge success with a series of top ten singles, including Bring It All Back, Reach and Never Had A Dream Come True.

Hannah, now 36, previously confessed to earning £600,000 over a four-year period with the band, although 'she didn't really realise' how much this was at the time.

She revealed that because of her lack of life experience, she had no real appreciation of how fortunate she was at the height of the band's popularity.

Meanwhile, former members, Jo O'Meara, Tina Barrett and Bradley McIntosh have re-grouped as SC3.
