The Russian trade mission in Damascus was subjected to mortar shelling, the Foreign Ministry said.
There are no victims and injured. The building is seriously damaged. It got a 120-mm mine.
"We strongly condemn another terrorist attack against the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation in Damascus, which has become a link in the chain of crimes committed by them against the peaceful population of the Syrian capital in recent days," the ministry said.
Earlier, a source from RIA Novosti reported that the mine fell into the trade mission as a result of the shelling of the presidential district of Damascus.
On Monday, terrorists attacked the points of delivery of Russian humanitarian aid. Two people died. A few more mines fell in the Bab-Tuma quarter in the historic center of Damascus. A woman was killed, three people were wounded.
