In Geneva, a meeting of the UN Human Rights Council on the violation of Crimean rights by Ukraine was disrupted, RIA Novosti said, the lawyer, the head of the working group with the permanent representation of the Republic of Crimea under the President Alexander Molokhov.

Molokhov planned to speak today at the 37th session of the UN Council on Human Rights.

"I do not exclude that the meeting could be canceled, including in connection with the position of the Ukrainian delegation," Molokhov said.

According to him, Ukraine aspired "in any way" to disrupt the meeting. In this case, according to the official version, it was canceled because of the personnel strike.

"According to the information deserving attention from the source from the union of the personnel of the staff of the UN office in Geneva, on the eve the employees of the said trade union were seen with the members of the Ukrainian delegation in one of the most expensive restaurants in Geneva," Molokhov added.

Earlier he reported that in the Ukrainian courts this year will send dozens of claims demanding compensation for Crimeans because of the energy blockade of the peninsula by Ukraine. In addition, lawsuits are being prepared for the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg because of the water blockade of the peninsula.
