IF DONALD Trump ever comes to Perth on a state visit, there is one place he definitely won’t be welcome.

While he technically may be the most powerful man in the world, the US President will be barred from Nobu at Crown Casino.

The Japanese restaurant is part of a chain owned by Robert DeNiro and this week the actor gave an interview to The Daily Mail saying Trump would be barred from every Nobu restaurant if he tried to enter.

The Daily Mail wrote “When asked who his dream dinner guest would be, Robert insisted he would never let Trump into any of the Nobu restaurants”.

De Niro also said he would instantly leave a room if the Commander-in-Chief entered it.

“I don’t care what he likes. If he walked into a restaurant I was in - I’d walk out.”

But while De Niro was strident in his Trump ban, head chef Nobu Matsuhisa hopes for a gastronomical detente between the two high-profile New Yorkers.

“It's my dream for Trump to sit next to Bob. To make them sushi!” he told the Daily Mail.

Perth’s Nobu is ranked one of the best restaurants in Australia.

Last year Trip Advisor praised it for its “out-of-this world” unique dining experience.
