It may well be the new year but it seems the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still in the festive mood.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan released their first Christmas card as a married couple in December but it appears the newlyweds were so inundated with well wishes they had to send a second card out.

Royal fan Instagram account loopycrown3 shared an image of the postcard she received from the couple thanking them for their wishes.

The card features a photo of Prince Harry and pregnant Meghan in Dubbo during their royal tour of Australia last year.

Meghan, 37, can be seen holding an umbrella over Prince Harry’s head while he gives a speech to locals waiting in the rain.

On the back of the image the royal couple printed a thank you message.

It read: ‘The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, thank you for the very kind message you sent for Christmas. This was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send their best wishes for Christmas, and for the New Year.’

In the first official card of the season, the couple, who tied the knot in May, are seen standing with their backs to the camera as they watch fireworks over the grounds of Frogmore House, Windsor, where their evening reception was held.

The photo was taken by Chris Allerton hours after the couple tied the knot at St George’s Chapel.

The black and white photo was praised by some supporters, but some were disappointed not to see the couple’s faces on the card.
