    Question about feedback

Is it unreasonable, prior to giving feedback, to make sure that an invite is working correctly? I ask because I had a situation with a member who got quite upset when I told them I'd leave feedback for them after I returned home to sign up using my home IP instead of my work IP.

Maybe next time I shouldn't have sent a thank you message regarding the invite and to let the person know that I appreciate their time. Instead I should just wait until I get home to sing up and give feedback. Thoughts?

I think he was upset because he thought i wasn't going to give the feedback. The reaction was quite harsh and I hadn't received that sort of response before. I did leave feedback after ensuring the invite worked (1-2 hours later?). I could understand if I only had 5 posts, but I've been here for some time now and have even given away invites along with offering more.
