MOSCOW, Feb. 17 (Itar-Tass) - RIA Novosti. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko accused Russia of trying to "destroy democracy" and stated that the Russian flag "should not be flying anywhere". This is reported by the Ukrainian TV channel TSN.

Speaking at the 54th Munich Security Conference, Poroshenko spoke out against holding a presidential election in the Crimea and restoring Russia's powers in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. "The Northern Stream-2" Ukrainian president called the "political and energy expansion" of Moscow and the project that "has nothing to do with economic interests."

"Neither politics nor business can exist apart from values: Moscow's current policy does not have a place for fair play, which is why the Russian flag does not wander at the 2018 Winter Olympics," Poroshenko said.

The president of Ukraine also accused Russia of "unleashing a hybrid war, gradually turning into a world war."

"The Russian flag should not be flying anywhere while Russia continues to incite a worldwide hybrid war, and Russian bullets are aimed at our symbols," he concluded.

Kiev previously repeatedly accused Moscow of interfering in the affairs of Ukraine. Russia denies this and calls such accusations unacceptable. Moscow has repeatedly stated that it is not a side of the intra-Ukrainian conflict and is interested in Ukraine's overcoming the political and economic crisis.

Also in the Kremlin categorically rejected accusations of Russia's involvement in hacker attacks on various foreign structures, in Moscow they were called unsubstantiated and groundless.
