KIEV, Feb. 28 (RIA Novosti). Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that Kiev is ready to accept ships from the Crimea, which remained there after the referendum on reunification with Russia, only together with the peninsula.

In early January, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is ready to transfer military ships and aircraft to Crimea from Ukraine, although they are in a deplorable state. Ammunition supplies in the Russian Federation are ready to invite Ukrainian specialists for the disposal of non-transportable ammunition. According to the president, we are talking about dozens of ships and combat aircraft.

"We are ready to receive ships from Crimea, and we are not talking about whether there is repair or equipment there, we are ready to receive ships from Crimea only together with the Crimea," Poroshenko said at a press conference on Wednesday.

He added that Ukraine will make every effort to do this, including "diplomatic, judicial and secretarial".

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman in response to Putin's initiative had already offered the Russian president to return the Crimea to Ukraine. Commenting on this proposal, the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Franz Klintsevich said that Kiev once again "confirmed its complete inadequacy."
