POLICE divers have been scouring a river in the hunt for missing mum Sarah Wellgreen after she vanished 19 days ago.

The mum-of-five was last seen on the night of October 9 near her home in New Ash Green, Kent.

Cops are now probing exactly what happened to Sarah, 46, in the 24 hours before she was officially reported missing on October 11.

They are treating her disappearance as a potential murder inquiry and have been searching woodland near Fawkham, Kent - around four miles from her home - and Dartford.

She disappeared without a trace with just her iPhone4, which has not been used along with her bank cards, but left her car at home.

CCTV at the house was switched off on the night she went missing and police have no way of charting how she left.

Police divers have today been searching the River Darent and it is believed they are hunting for Sarah's mobile phone.

Specialist officers used an aquascope to look underwater and combed the riverbed - as well as flying a drone over the area.

Drains have also been searched in the area while volunteers have been tasked with searching footpaths and bridal tracks.

It comes as The Sun revealed Sarah had rowed with her ex-boyfriend over benefits payments the day before she went missing.

She had just got a new job but the news prompted an argument with ex Ben Lacomba, who was still living with her for the sake of the children.

Her new boyfriend, Neil James, said Ben, 38, had asked whether he could claim benefits cash for their three children now she was in work.

Sarah was poised to buy out her ex-boyfriend’s share of their house and marry Neil, 45.

They planned to wed in Guildford with another ceremony in Majorca - where Wellgreen previously lived with Ben - after inquiring about a service at the Guildford Registry Office.

The Sun Online previously revealed that Sarah had told her ex-husband that she wanted to get married to a mystery man just weeks before she vanished.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and freed on police bail.
