MOSCOW, April 8 (Itar-Tass) - RIA Novosti. New facts on the incident of poisoning former colonel GRU Sergey Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury can turn the investigation of this case, said Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations Basil Nebenzia in an interview, a fragment of which was shown on the First Channel.

"There are more and more interesting facts and evidences that can turn the whole thing over someday." I have a question recently: "Was there a boy?" Nebenzia said.

Poisoning in Salisbury

March 4, Sergei Skripal and his daughter found unconscious in the English city of Salisbury. In the UK, they say that they were poisoned, and that Russia is allegedly involved in this. In connection with this, London expelled 23 Russian diplomats from the country. His example was followed by some other countries.

In Russia, however, all accusations are denied: the British side did not provide convincing evidence of its involvement, and experts from the British laboratory in Porton Down failed to establish exactly where the substance that had been poisoned by Sergei Skripal was made.

At the same time, the British Foreign Ministry acknowledged that the conclusions about Moscow's involvement were made on the basis of "own estimates of information." As UK representative Karen Pearce told the UN Security Council, London sees no contradiction in the wording, according to which Russia, "probably", is guilty of this incident.

As former member of the biological weapons commission of the United Nations Igor Nikulin told RIA Novosti, this poison could be produced anywhere.

"It's very difficult to determine the locations, which is what the representatives of the laboratory in Porton Down (near Salisbury) say, as far as I know, Russia, after signing the Convention (on the prohibition of chemical weapons), new works in this area not engaged, "- he said.

In his turn, Igor Rybalchenko, head of the Laboratory for Chemical and Analytical Control of the Scientific Center of the Ministry of Defense, in an interview with RT TV stated that to synthesize a substance that could be poisoned by Fiddles was "not a problem", and all its original components were "commercially available".

The state of Sergei Skripal

According to an employee of the hospital in Salisbury, Sergei Skripal emerged from a critical condition and quickly goes on to recover.

His daughter Yulia woke up more than a week ago. She said that every day she feels better, and the incident called "confusing".

A few days ago in the program "60 minutes" on the TV channel "Russia 1" they announced the recording of her telephone conversation with her cousin Victoria.

She told her that "everything is fine, everything is solved, everyone is recovering, all are alive."

According to Victoria, after that, she no longer contacted Yulia.

Victoria was going to come to the UK to visit her uncle and cousin, but the embassy refused her visa. Then she on air Sky News appealed to the British Prime Minister Teresa May with a request to help her in this matter.

On Sunday, the Sunday Times reported that Skripal and his daughters will be offered to move to the United States under new names in order to "protect against new attacks."

"The obvious place for their resettlement is America, because there are less chances that they will be killed, and there it is easier to protect them," the newspaper quotes its source in intelligence.

The OPCW investigation

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) conducted an analysis of the toxic agent samples that were used in Salisbury. As the company's CEO said, she will receive the results of the tests early next week.

According to Alexander Yakovenko, Russia's ambassador to London, Moscow recognizes the results of the OPCW investigation, if confirmed by the international community.

"We want to see who these experts are." At the moment, we do not yet know who they are, "he said.

Earlier, the OPCW's Executive Council rejected a proposal by Russia, China and Iran on a new investigation into the "Skripal case". The British Foreign Secretary called this proposal "absurd" and said that Russia is trying to "hide the truth and embarrass the public."
